About
This site is a set of small tools for checking the hardware around your computer or phone: keyboard, mouse, controller, microphone, camera, speakers, headphones and screen. Each test does one job and shows you what the browser can measure, without a download or an account.
Everything runs locally. Input, audio and video are processed in your browser and thrown away when you close the page. The only thing stored is your personal best on the click tests, and that stays in your own browser.
The tests are built on standard web APIs. That means they work in current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, and it also means they share those browsers' limits: for example, controller vibration is only available in some browsers, and the speaker test can only drive the two channels the browser exposes.
If a test gives you a result you don't expect, run it a second time, try another browser, and check the questions at the bottom of the page. If you still think the tool itself is wrong, use the contact page.
Common questions
Who is this site for?
Anyone who wants a quick answer to a simple question: does this key work, is this stick drifting, can the browser hear my microphone. No technical knowledge needed.
Why no download?
Modern browsers can read keyboards, mice, controllers, microphones, cameras and displays directly. A web page is enough for these checks and leaves nothing installed.
How do I report a problem with a test?
Use the contact page and include the test, your browser and device, and what you saw. Reports with those three details get fixed fastest.
