Common questions

Which test should I use for a controller that moves on its own?

Use the Stick Drift Test. It watches both sticks while you leave them alone and reports the largest movement, so you can tell real drift from a small deadzone issue.

Do these tests work on a phone?

Most do. The screen, touch, microphone, camera and speaker tests are designed for phones and tablets. The keyboard, mouse and controller tests need those devices connected, which usually means a computer.

Why are there separate white, black and color screen pages?

Each one fills the display with a single color for a different job: white for cleaning and lighting, black for backlight bleed, and red, green and blue for spotting stuck pixels. The Dead Pixel Test cycles through all of them in one place.
